Partnering with $162,770,000,000 Company, Bryce Young Took Home a Valuable Piece of the NFL Draft

Bryce Young partnered with Lowe’s, a company worth $162.77 billion per macroaxis.com, on draft day to literally bring back a piece of the NFL draft to his home. The NFL draft marks a special time for all incoming rookies, especially the first overall pick, and now Young will have a great memento to take back home. Lowe’s worked to create a keepsake gift box for this year’s rookies, giving them a piece of the NFL draft stage to carry back.

Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud were always in contention for the first overall pick, but Young always seemed to have the edge. The Alabama product seemed more polished and refined in his game, and it became clearer and clearer come draft day that he was going to go first. The Bears initially held the first overall pick, but they soon realized they had more value in trading out of the pick than keeping it. They landed D.J. Moore from the Panthers for the pick, and Carolina decided to take Young. They’re hoping Young will help solve the franchise’s quarterback struggles.

Bryce Young is grateful for the gift Lowe’s gave him

The NFL draft is the biggest day for a college prospect hoping to make it to the NFL. It’s officially the first step they make into the professional world, crossing over from college to the NFL. It marks the transition, and the anticipation behind the draft is always immense.

Stress, fear, disappointment, joy, and everything in between encompass the NFL Draft. It’s a massive moment for everyone involved, but when it’s over, the overwhelming feeling most draftees feel is joy. Getting to take a souvenir from the draft is something special, and it’s something Young and the other rookies were able to experience with Lowe’s gift.

Bryce Young opened up to PEOPLE about the NFL draft and Lowe’s gift, and he was very happy about the entire thing. “The draft was a very surreal moment for me,” Young said to PEOPLE. “It’s an experience that I’ll never forget.”

“I’m super grateful to be partnering with Lowe’s and super grateful for what they’ve done for me and for all the rookies,” the Panthers quarterback established. “Being able to have not just the thought and the memory, but the physical part of the stage is really surreal.”

He also spoke about how his parents would have a special place for it at home. Young was asked where he would keep his gift, and he answered with his parent’s home.

“I think I’m going to keep it at my parents’ [house]. They keep all of the awards and stuff that’s really memorable to us,” Bryce Young said about his parents Julie and Craig Young. “They have a place ready for it, so I think it’ll be there.”

Young is ready to ascend from the NFL Draft

While the NFL draft is a massive moment for all NFL rookies, it’s only the first step for NFL rookies. Young knows that he has a long road ahead in the NFL, but this is a great start for him.

He’s the first overall pick, and he carries a lot of expectations, but he’ll be ready for it. He shined in the greatest college football school, and now, he’ll be able to pick up a team that hasn’t had stable quarterback play since Cam Newton’s prime.

Young knew this as well, saying, “All the good things that come from it and all the blessings that come is a product of what’s happened during the past, but it doesn’t entitle me to anything in the future.”
