Peyton Manning & Eli Manning Take on the Big Screen Again For the Latest Pro Bowl Commercial

The Superbowl is just around the corner and that means brands are ready with all their homework. The Superbowl makes for the greatest stage for brands to make their mark in being relevant.

While the football contest brings eyeballs to the Superbowl, the Superbowl commercials also draw extra attention. Just as it makes for the biggest stage for football athletes, it also makes for one of the biggest stages for brands to showcase themselves. Peyton Manning and Eli Manning also featured in one of the commercials this year leading to the Pro Bowl.

The Pro Bowl is the NFL’s way of recognizing the top talents in the league and also makes for their version of the All-Star weekend. This year’s Pro Bowl will feature the Manning brothers as Peyton Manning will be the coach for the AFC team while Eli Manning will look over the guys from the NFC.

Peyton Manning and Eli Manning still hot assets

Even after retiring from the game a few years ago in 2016, Peyton Manning remains one of the most marketable assets of the NFL. With his superior fan following he will always remain an asset for brands. His younger brother, Eli Manning also isn’t too far behind in the race as the brothers remain marketable even post-retirement. They featured in the NFL’s commercial promoting the  Pro  Bowl contest this year. 

The Pro Bowl will be in a new avatar this year with its new adaptations. These adaptations to the Prow Bowl come in as the NFL looks to reduce injuries for players. In order to promote this event, Eli and Peyton Manning were featured in a commercial that was set on brotherly banter. The duo argued about which conference was better. Older brother Peyton Manning turned into a bully as he ended the conversation between the two brothers when he said “Mom loves the AFC more,” to which Eli Manning had no response.

This seemed to be a Verizon commercial in partnership with the NFL. The deal breaker here was their mom calling at the end as soon as Peyton Manning dropped the mic on his younger brother. 

It was definitely great utilization of the relationship between the two brothers as seen on their famous show, The Manning Cast. Eli and Peyton Manning have a great relationship and brotherly admiration is quite visible between the two. 

The Pro Bowl will take place on February 5 and will definitely be one of the highlights of this season. The camaraderie between the brothers will be on display yet again as they go head-to-head.
