Von Miller, a star for the Buffalo Bills, appeared on the Pat McAfee Show on Thursday. While speaking about the Denver Broncos’ current season, he stated that he believes the team can recover, especially their star quarterback Russell Wilson. Miller thinks that although Wilson may be having a rough time right now, he will undoubtedly shine in the near future and recover.

The Denver Broncos are having one of their worst seasons ever. They made a splashy trade to acquire former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in an effort to improve on their 7-10 record from 2021 and reach the playoffs for the first time since winning the Super Bowl in 2015.

However, the team has struggled with injuries, subpar offensive efforts, and a lot of penalties, placing them near the bottom of the league in a number of offensive categories. Hackett was fired on December 26, two weeks before the season’s end, due to his 4-11 record. The Broncos finished with their sixth straight losing campaign and missed the playoffs for the seventh straight year.

Von Miller believes the Denver Broncos will bounce back next season

In a recent appearance on the Pat MacAfee show, Von Miller discussed the recent Broncos situation with Pat and A.J Hawks. Pat asked Miller about his thoughts on Broncos and Russell Wilson as the team is nearing the bottom with multiple injuries. Pat also inquired whether the only positive aspect of this year’s Broncos is their defence, despite the fact that they spent more money on a quarterback than on their entire defence.

Von Miller stated that he has always believed in the Broncos. This team has always demonstrated this in previous years. He went on to say a few nice things about Russell Wilson.

Miller believes that Russell is one of the best quarterbacks the NFL has ever produced, and that while this year may be difficult, Russell will return dramatically changed next year and stronger than ever.

Miller has been chosen for eight Pro Bowls and has been named to the All-Pro first team three times and the second team four times. As of 2022, he had 110.5 career sacks, the most of any active player.

Miller won the 2015 Super Bowl MVP award as well. After being traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, Miller won Super Bowl LVI with them too.
