“Michael Jordan Had To Have Some Setbacks”: Reporter Becomes Unexpected Motivator For Shedeur Sanders In Post-Game Press Conference

Colorado Buffaloes lost their first game of the season in week 4 against the Oregon Ducks, and it was a disappointing one. Not only was the defense incapable of stopping Bo Nix from scoring back-to-back first downs but even Shedeur Sanders struggled to put points up the scoreboard. And with that hard-hitting loss, Shedeur’s NIL valuation plummeted by $700,000.

It was a big loss for the Buffs, as Shedeur’s hype of a Heisman season took a massive dip. Though his lackluster performance was majorly due to the leaky offensive line, but it had a major impact on the QB. Shedeur was unable to make first downs and could only throw one touchdown in the entire game in the last quarter.

Deion Sanders’ Son Loses $700,000 In NIL Valuation

Before his game against the Oregon Ducks Shedeur was on his all-time high in NIL valuation with $5.2 million. His thrilling overtime win against Colorado State shot up his valuation by $1.1 million in just a week. However, Deion Sanders‘ 21-year-old son started off the season with just $1.3 million in his NIL bag.

Days after his 42-6 loss to Dan Lanning’s team Shedeur saw a massive drop of around $700,000 ($699,000 to be precise) in his valuation for the first time this season. As of now, his NIL valuation stands at $4.5 million which is still the highest in college football ranks. While five-star Oregon QB Bo Nix stands at $1.1 million in NIL valuation.

Surprisingly, despite a big win against Coach Prime’s Colorado, Bo Nix’s NIL valuation dropped by $195,000. While on the other hand, injured Travis Hunter saw a dip of $160,000 for not missing out on his Oregon matchup. Hunter is still the sixth highest valued student-athlete in the NIL 100 rankings, as per On3.

Shedeur Sanders’ Heisman Odds Drop By +4,200 Points

Shedeur Sanders was one of the Heisman frontrunners after he won three straight games with the Buffs. As per Odds Shark, his Heisman odds were +1,800 before his Oregon game. He was on some occasions named alongside college football star Caleb Williams in the Heisman race. However, after his disappointing week 4 loss, his odds dropped to +6,000.

While on the other hand, Bo Nix’s odds shot up from +2,500 to +1,000 after the game. Although there are still eight more weeks into the season and the Heisman race is still very much alive. It will be seen if Shedeur will make everyone hop on his hype train once again or if Bo Nix will outpace in the race of the elites.
