“The Kingdom Will Burn” : Fans Predict the Chiefs’ Downfall After Travis Kelce Allegedly Smashes a Vince Lombardi Trophy on Stage at ‘Kelce Jam’

Travis Kelce, Who Makes Over $5,000,000 Per Annum In Endorsements, Has Reportedly Earned $20,000,000 From Pfizer This Year

The Kansas City Chiefs may have secured the right to keep this year’s Vince Lombardi Trophy. However, it seems they might have also taken that invitation to include massive stunts using the trophy. At least, that’s what Travis Kelce thinks, who has often used the trophy as his personal cup since the win. Though that sat well with fans, they are not appreciative of his smashing the trophy to pieces.

The Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles on 29 January 2023. In a game that went down to the wire, both teams constantly kept themselves in the race to win through sheer skill and talent. The game also established, for many, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce as the best players in the league in their respective positions. Many even compared Kelce to Rob Gronkowski.

Travis Kelce lives up to Gronkowski comparison by spiking the Lombardi trophy

If there is one thing the legendary Rob Gronkowski is known for apart from his football, it is partying and spiking. This is exactly what Travis Kelce is trying to emulate as well, as seen from his performance at ‘Kelce Jam’. The event was studded with stars such as MGK, Rick Ross, and Kelce’s mother Donna! Though, fans were not very amused after Kelce took to the stage to spike a Vince Lombardi trophy to the ground.

Even though it was revealed that the trophy was a replica, fans are still not happy with the way Travis Kelce treated it. Either way, the event was a successful one. Especially when one could see Jason Kelce amongst the crowd, chugging beer after beer on live television. Thankfully, no one gave him a Vince Lombardi trophy to spike onto the ground.

The Chiefs are looking set to defend their title this year

Whatever anyone may say about Kelce disrespecting the trophy, it is not going to affect the Chiefs, at least on paper. Even with the loss of JuJu-Smith-Schuster, the Chiefs are looking ready to embark on a title defense this year. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce will once again be called upon to once again use their partnership to lead the Chiefs to victory.

However, many predict that the duo may not be enough to help the Kansas City outfit this year. The injury-plagued receiver corp may have been saved by Kelce’s magic on the gridiron last year. Though it seems without Schuster, Mahomes will face a major lack of targets on the field. Will the Chiefs find a way to plug this hole? Or will it sink the ship even before it sails?
