Allen Robinson was on the side of Kevin Durant who said that the USA is still the most skilled country in the world when it comes to basketball.

The ‘Slim Reaper’ sent out a warning earlier after USA’s dominant win in the Gold Medal game against France. After a shaky start to the tournament which included two exhibition losses to Nigeria and Australia as well as a group stage loss to France, people were questioning Team USA’s ability to win gold once more.
Durant and the rest of the squad definitely proved all those people wrong, and Durant couldn’t help but refrain from calling out everyone who doubted USA.

Allen Robinson agreed with this notion, bringing up the future of Team USA basketball with stars like Trae Young and Zion Williamson.
Allen Robinson Agrees With Kevin Durant, Says The World Is Not Ready For The Next Wave Of USA Basketball With Trae Young And Zion Williamson
Durant was the most experienced hooper on this year’s Olympic squad, and it’s safe to say that at some point, he’ll strongly consider hanging it up when comes to playing on the international stage.
We’ve seen it happen before with Olympic stars like LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony opting out of the games this year, bringing in a host of debutants like Zach Lavine, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and more.
Eventually, the time will come for players like Trae Young (who many felt should’ve been part of this year’s squad) and Zion Williamson to take up the mantle. Allen Robinson made notice of this point:
I agree lol they not ready to deal with Trae young Zion and the crew lol https://t.co/rUwALxZsJO

Robinson is a huge fan of the NBA, constantly Tweeting and making posts about the basketball world. Being an American, it makes sense why he rushed to Durant’s support.
Robinson is in the middle of Chicago Bears training camp right now, prepping for the NFL preseason. The star wide receiver had another great season last year, hauling in 102 catches for 1,250 yards despite some shoddy quarterback play.
As the Bears look to usher in a new era of quarterbacking with either Andy Dalton or Justin Fields, the hope is that Robinson can continue to thrive in his role as a WR1 and elevate his play even more. This NFL season will be crucial for the Bears as they hope to have finally found their franchise passer in Justin Fields.
Robinson has agreed to play the 2021-22 season on a franchise tag, but he definitely wants a long-term extension. If the Bears can show him that he should stay and be a part of the rebuild around Justin Fields, it’s likely that he’ll stick around in Chicago.
