Tom Brady

Tom Brady has seven rings, a truckload of awards and accomplishments, but it looks like Guy Fieri might have him beat in something you’d never expect.

In fact, it’s not only Brady. Aside from 14 players in the NFL, Guy Fieri has a leg up when it comes to this one particular thing. What is that thing you might ask? Well, after signing an $80 million contract for three years, Fieri’s average salary would rank 15th in the NFL.

That’s more than superstars like Tom Brady, Kahlil Mack, and Julio Jones. The Food Network shelled out some serious money for Guy Fieri’s contract.

There’s your strange fact of the day. Of course, Fieri is one of the most popular personalities in the cooking world, and working with an entertainment company like The Food Network has its dividends, so this isn’t a big deal, but it’s still interesting to see nevertheless.

Tom Brady Ranks As 15th Highest Paid Player, Guy Fieri Beats Brady Out In Average Salary

As it stands, Brady is tied as the 15th highest paid player in the NFL right now with Derek Carr and Myles Garrett based on average salary with $25 million.

Fieri, who is set to make $26.6 million, would slot in right behind Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa and Rams QB Matthew Stafford who each make $27 million a year.

Whenever we think of top-name athletes, in whatever sport, we automatically assume them to be some the richest and highest paid people in the world. That assumption generally holds true, but sometimes it’s easy to overlook just how much money other entertainers can make.

Guy Fieri is a top-tier chef, appearing on The Food Network since 2006. His new contract makes him the highest paid TV-chef in the world now. Fieri notably stands as the host of “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” and “Guy’s Grocery Games.”
