Having gone 7-0 against the Cowboys, the NFL community was expecting another Tom Brady masterclass. Unfortunately, Brady walked out of the competition. Pat McAfee and his boys got into speculating about what this means for his future.
However, a supreme defense showing from America’s team denied Tom Brady from writing another story for the record books. Brady’s Bucs bowed out of the Superbowl contention. The Bucs have been average all year and that’s exactly how they showed up for their wild-card game.
With Brady giving his best, he was let down by his fellow O-linemen, just like he has been most of the season. The 45-year-old finished the regular season with the Bucs with a losing record, something he hasn’t been very used to in his 23-year-old career. The legendary quarterback was in his 20th playoffs this season.

Tom Brady: The end of an era?
After the year he has had, a cinematic finish would have made for the best story of his career. Dealing with personal issues and family problems, Tom Brady could have used some on-field glory to make this year memorable for the right reasons. However, the GOAT fell short and his 23rd season came to an upsetting end.
The hero here, however, wasn’t the end of his season. As Brady walked off the field, speculations about his future started again. Something that has been going around in the league for almost a decade after every last game of the season for Brady. This time, Brady’s interview got some scrutiny and theories on his future have been out. Pat McAfee threw some light on this on his show. He got into it with his boys as they decided what to make of his interview.
Brady thanked everyone for welcoming him to Tampa Bay as he exited the conference. It was a sweet gesture, but quite unusual. His final words hinted at an exit, but not an exit from the game yet. At 46, not many expect him to return to the league. McAfee, however, believes this was no way for him to put an end to his career. This was no exit for the greatest quarterback in the game.
As they expect him to leave Tampa Bay but continue in the league, the NFL community will be glued to reports in the off-season to see where Tom Brady will land a contract.
