“Maybe That Was Tom Brady’s Last Game”: Buccaneers Insider Rick Stroud Shares Insights on Veteran QB’s Plans For Next Season
Two of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history are now at a crossroads in their careers. Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Rodgers isn’t giving any hints on what is going on in his head. However, it seems Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Tom Brady might just be slipping up and dropping subtle hints about his decisions. Buccaneers’ Insider reporter, Rick Stroud, has some interesting notes about Brady’s behavior after the wildcard loss on Monday.
Speaking on the ‘Rich Eisen Show’, he brings up a few interesting pointers while talking about Tom Brady. He talks about how for the first time ever, Brady brought his parents onto the field after the game, and how his mother fought to hold back tears. “And it just it struck me as do they know that maybe that’s the last game he plays,” he says. It is certainly a possibility, given most players do bring out their family on the pitch after their last game in the NFL.
He also talks about how his personal problems have played a major role in his decline in performance this year, saying it is impossible to “divorce” the two aspects of his life. Brady also did thank all reporters for their hard work after the press conference, which further strikes a doubt in many fans’ hearts.
Tom Brady is the most sought after QB in the NFL, even after bad season
Tom Brady might have had a terrible season, but his value has not gone down at all. In fact, multiple teams have been rumored to be interested in THE 7x Super Bowl winner. The team touted to be in the lead are the Las Vegas Raiders. Who apparently are going all out to get the future Hall of Famer on their offense. With weapons such as Davante Adams on their receiver corps, they are definitely a team to be at.
On the other hand, the Miami Dolphins are also probably looking for a QB. With the future of their star man Tua Tagovailoa uncertain, they could massively benefit from Brady running their offense. Fast paced receivers such as Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle could prove to be great options to choose from for Brady’s strong arms.
The other option in the air is the New Orleans Saints. Their former coach Sean Payton is rumored to return to coach them. This means Brady could be interested in considering joining his division rivals. He has already been linked to Payton in the past. So he could possibly get an opportunity to pair up with the coach this time around.
All these speculations are going round, even when no is sure if Brady will even play for another season. Apart from Stroud’s eagle-eyed observations, fans have no reason to believe he will give up on the game he lost almost everything on. Where will we see Brady play next season?
