Travis Kelce and Jason Pitches Roger Goodell a Fantastic Idea to Make the NFL Arena More Dramatic

Travis and Jason Kelce want to make the NFL arena more dramatic. And for that, the iconic duo believes that post game ‘hockey fight’ is the ultimate solution. They recently pitched the idea to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell who nodded in agreement and said that he would consider it and will pass on the suggestions to the competition committee. Well, that’s a hard bargain to implement and practically impossible, but the Kelce brothers are optimistic about their wish.

In April this year, the NFL Bros live hosted their New Heights event, welcoming some of the prominent personalities in the football fraternity. The NFL commissioner was one of them. Having Goodell on the show was an incredible moment, and the duo utilized it pretty well. Some of their rule change suggestions really generated a few laughs, but what ended up forcing the crowd to go wild was the time when Travis expressed his desire to ‘hockey fight’ his older brother Jason.

Travis Kelce wants to have hockey fights in the NFL

Earlier this year, the Kelce brothers emphasized the need for real physical fights on the gridiron. They believe that if players square up for a one-on-one matchup, fans will get a hit show, even after the seemingly dull games. As one can expect, this special suggestion to the NFL commissioner was made by cheeky Travis Kelce during a live event of the New Heights Podcast.

Moreover, the Kansas City T.E also made it clear that if this rule is implemented, he would love to fight “Jason F**king Kelce.” Of course, he was kidding. The ‘new rule’ suggestions started flowing when Travis decided to have some fun with Goodell.

We think that there’s one rule that would just make the game unbelievable, and we wanted to know what’s your thoughts on. Every single game, you give one hockey fight per game?” Travis claimed. Goodell, who liked the idea, responded by saying, “That’s a really good idea, Travis. Really good. No, I’m going to send that to the competition committee.”

Kelce brothers’ crazy “New Heights” games are too good to miss

Every episode of the New Heights Podcast is a goldmine of content for NFL lovers. To make the episodes even more fun, not long ago, the duo introduced a new game, wherein they had to name NFL coaches and management members across all 32 teams.

In one of the sessions, the Chiefs tight end tried to identify some coaches, which included Bill Belichick, Sean Payton, and other HCs of the football fraternity. The veteran failed to recognize a handful of them. Although Jason helped his brother with some great hints, Travis still ended up failing miserably.

With each passing day, the Kelce brothers are dominating the media market with captivating content. It will be interesting to see how far they go in the coming years.
