Travis Kelce Hilariously Trolled by Patrick Mahomes for Making the “Most Horrible Pitch in Baseball History” at Guardians’ Home Opener
When the new season kicks around, there will be another item on the list of things for Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce to work on: Kelce’s pitching skills. Travis Kelce made himself the subject of jokes after he there what can only be described as a disaster throw. Fortunately, he has a star pitcher on his team to help iron him out. However, this is going to become a standalone joke forever.
Travis Kelce, and his mother Donna Kelce, attended the Cleveland Guardian’s home opener for the season. Having won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, he was invited to throw the first pitch of the season. What was supposed to be a normal affair, instead turned out to be a viral one. All because Kelce couldn’t throw the ball straight.
Patrick Mahomes couldn’t stop himself from trolling Travis Kelce
Kelce‘s failed attempt on Friday went viral on social media. His good friend and teammate, Patrick Mahomes, couldn’t help but poke fun at Kelce for the disaster. Mahomes tweeted twice in response to Kelce’s clip, one of which was a request to the Kansas City Royals to give Kelce the chance to throw at their home opener. Given Mahomes is co-owner of the Royals, it’s not a stretch to assume this might happen.

Unlike Kelce, Mahomes has a history with baseball, through his father. Not just that, he used to play baseball in high school and college. He was even drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 34th round of the 2014 MLB draft. Safe to say, there will be a lot of pitching practice scheduled in Kelce’s practice list, thanks to Patrick Mahomes.
The Kansas City Chiefs remain favorites to win the Super Bowl this year
Travis Kelce might just need all the pitching practice that he can get. Especially if the Chiefs win again. He cannot afford to make the same mistake two years in a row, can he? However, he’ll be happy that his spiking skills are on point, which he will no doubt put on display every time he scores a touchdown.
There is no doubt that the Chiefs are going to be a force to reckon with this season. However, they might just face some competition from the likes of the Raiders, who have been actively revamping their roster. However, all hopes will be pinned on Patrick Mahomes. Will the Chiefs once again sail to Super Bowl win? Or will Mahomes have to wait another year to add a third ring to his finger?
