“Trevor Lawrence is the future of football and we think that Crypto is the future of finance,”: Blockfolio COO ecstatic after QB Trevor Lawrence signs new endorsement with crypto company.

NFL teams got a last chance to see Trevor Lawrence throw today before the draft. His QB coach, Jordan Palmer, gave the media an insight into Lawrence’s decision to hold a pro day.

Being the projected number 1 pick for a number of years, many would decide to not throw at their Pro Day. But not Trevor Lawrence. In fact, the Clemson star went out of his way to conduct a pro day early to undergo surgery on his non-throwing shoulder sooner.

His decision raised some eyebrows, in a good way of course. It’s truly a testament to his character and dedication, which is exactly what his QB coach and ex-NFL quarterback Jordan Palmer had to say.

Jordan Palmer Compares Trevor Lawrence to his Brother Carson Palmer

Speaking to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, Jordan Palmer provided a reason for Lawrence’s choice to hold his own pro day.

“Reason he wants to throw is he loves ball and he has nothing to hide,” said Palmer. “‘They want me to throw, I’ll throw. Yeah, I’ll throw for everybody. Sounds great.’ For him, he could sit there and say, ‘I’m not doing it and here’s why.'”

“And you gotta understand where I’m coming from too, my brother [Carson] was the surefire No. 1 pick, no doubt, he played in the Senior Bowl and threw at the combine, because, ‘Give me a ball. I’d love to compete.’ I have nothing to hide. I love throwing.”

“Trevor’s the same kind of guy. He loves to compete, has nothing to hide, confident as they come and loves doing it. It’s really simple for him. It wasn’t really even a discussion.”

Although the Clemson play caller’s ceiling is probably higher than Carson Palmer’s, it definitely is high praise to earn at such an early stage in his career.

Updates from Trevor Lawrence’s Pro Day

Urban Meyer was also seen speaking to Dabo Swinney throughout the workout, so it’s pretty safe to say the Jacksonville Jaguars plan to use their #1 overall pick on Clemson’s generational talent.
