N’Golo Kante warns the Chelsea board and fans
Last year’s PFA Player of the year, N’Golo Kante is a bit apprehensive before the start of the new season. Kante, who has now won the last two Premier league seasons with Leicester City and Chelsea respectively, has warned Chelsea that this will be a very difficult season for them.
This is what Kante had to say about next season,
“It’s going to be tough because a lot of teams have strengthened [this summer], which makes it more difficult”. Kante, who won the PFA Player of the Year award last term, told Chelsea’s official website.

“The season starts next weekend and we have to be ready.”
Kante also took time to reflect on Chelsea’s loss to Arsenal in the Community Shield. While it was only a friendly match, Kante and his team mates were left disappointed with the loss.
Kante thought Pedro’s red card was the defining moment in the game.
“I thought we played well,” Kante added. “We scored the first goal and we were close to winning.”
“After Pedro’s red card they scored and it became more difficult for us. In the end they won on penalties, but when it’s like that you can win or you can lose.”
Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte has often mentioned how the coming season will be the most difficult season of his managerial career so far. The likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all strengthened over the summer.
Conte is unhappy that the Chelsea board has not backed him enough in the transfer market. And now it looks like his players are also indirectly supporting him.
Things need to get sorted out at Stamford Bridge!
