With the international side set to make a foray into the land in February, India A find themselves visiting the country prior to the main team for a three match one day and two match test cricket series.

This is an Indian unit packed with some stellar names, players who have plied their skill set for the Indian team and are familiar with playing on pace friendly conditions as the ones prevalent in New Zealand.
Before they take on New Zealand A starting next week, India A find themselves playing two encounters against New Zealand XI. It’s a chance for them to showcase their traits on the global stage, a chance they’ll be looking to grab with both hands as they look to make things jittery for India this Friday.

NZ-XI vs IN-A Dream11 Wicket-Keeper
For over the course of the last 6 months now, there has been an incessant clamour to include Sanju Samson in the Indian setup in place of Pant. The exclusion of the wicket-keeper from India’s ongoing series against Australia was a baffling one, a decision made even more inexplicable after Rishabh Pant ended up getting injuries.
Failing to make it into the squad for that series, Sanju Sampson was sent to New Zealand for a series which could end up being a defining moment for the player. He’s capable of coming up with runs on any surface and we envision him piling on the runs today to make him our first choice for the day.
Elsewhere, we have the one player come in from the Black Caps side as well with Dane Cleaver being inducted in our setup. He’s scored 1,106 runs in 41 one day encounters, one of the talisman of his side’s batting unit to make him a must have pick for the day.
NZ-XI vs IN-A Dream11 Batsmen
We begin this component of our Dream 11 side with the pick of Mayank Agarwal from India A. He’s set to play in India’s squad when they take on New Zealand in the test cricket series and the opener will be looking to use this outing as an invaluable one to garner much needed time out in the middle in the country.
Also, with 3,869 runs in one days, he looks set to pile on the runs for this clash to see us make him our first pick. The second choice was a trickier one with both Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav being available to us.
We decided to go with Suryakumar Yadav given the electric touch he was in India’s white ball domestic arena off late, one which saw him pile on a bagful of runs given his expansive brand of cricket. Elsewhere, we have the one name being brought in from the home side as well with Jack Boyle being picked up by us.
NZ-XI vs IN-A Dream11 All-Rounders
With 2,453 runs to his name, there is a reason why New Zealand’s captain is considered such a stalwart of the country’s domestic circuit. Daryl Mitchell is someone whose technique, application, patience and guile has been consistently lauded, one which has seen him herald his way a slew of runs.
He’s paired up by Sean Solia who has accrued the 1,167 runs and 27 wickets in 30 encounters while from India A we are getting in the lone player. Krunal Pandya comes into our side owing to the magnitude of overs he’s likely to get with the ball today and with the home side having traditionally struggled against spin, Pandya should end up befitting from their plight.
NZ-XI vs IN-A Dream11 Bowling Order
While he’s more than a capable bowler with his deviations set to immensely perturb India, Henry Shipley has scored 215 runs as well in his outings to see us rope him in from the side. The New Zealand XI bowler is someone capable of contributing in both the slots of his side’s gameplan to make him a must have option for the outing.
Andrew Hazeldine will be joining him owing to his left hand brand of bowling, one which is bound to leave India in an apathy on the day. Elsewhere, the Indian side finds just the one pick in the form of Khaleel Ahmed.
NOTE: If you want to get in Shubman Gill(who could be a great option, drop SuryaKumar Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed and bring in Shubman Gill and Mohammad Siraj
Happy picking!
