Man United News: Manchester United ready to offer massive bid for Ousmane Dembele

The Barcelona player has hailed his time with Tuchel

Ousmane Dembele’s time at Barcelona has been nothing short of an enigma. Making the move to the La Liga side for a mammoth amount, the Frenchman is yet to justify the staggering cost Barcelona shelved out for him.

While he’s managed to come up with some illustrious goals, injuries and consistency have hindered Dembele’s progression at the club. However, for the first time in more than a year, he’s once again looking at his imperious best.

Thriving in a lengthy period away from the injury bed, Dembele has emerged as a crucial component of Barcelona’s attacking play. His searing speed and ability to work past tight spaces has seen him rekindle Barcelona’s aspirations of winning the La Liga trophy.

Dembele Spurs Up Chelsea Links

However, the player is yet to ink a new deal at Barcelona. Dembele who is at contract with the club till next year could end up leaving the club on a free, something Barcelona are going to try hard to stave.

Dembele’s recent comments will meanwhile do no favour to Barcelona. Speaking to beIN Sports, the attacking player has revealed that Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel is the best coach he’s played under to spring up rumours of the player wanting a Chelsea move.

Tuchel who is set to get a behemoth amount by Roman Abramovich in the upcoming transfer market could eye a move for Dembele. Chelsea are bound to scour for a wide attacking player and with Tuchel well aware of Dembele’s skill set, a move could transpire between the two parties.

Tuchel meanwhile is getting his Chelsea side ready for their imminent Champions League contest against Porto. The club based out of London travels to Spain to face off against the Portuguese side with a healthy 2-0 safety cushion in their kitty.

Barcelona on the other hand suffered their first defeat in a couple of months. The side was defeated 2-1 by Real Madrid at the weekend, a defeat which put the brakes on them moving all the way upto top spot.
