Parthiv Patel trolls Yuvraj Singh

Parthiv Patel trolls Yuvraj Singh: The veteran Indian cricketers once again got involved in a banter on Instagram.

There seem to be no culmination in the online banter between veteran Indian cricketers in Yuvraj Singh and Parthiv Patel. The duo had earlier exchanged comments on social media platform Instagram when Yuvraj’s attempt of taking a dig at Patel saw the latter responding in a witty manner.

The second episode in this week of the same happened after Patel uploaded a photo of himself post his workout in the gym. “Done for the day….,” read the caption on Patel’s post in which he was witnessed sitting on the treadmill.

After the photo was uploaded, Yuvraj was quick to respond on the same, albeit in a taunting way. “Looks like was a great session! Your sweating a lot,” read Yuvraj’s comment.

Patel, who didn’t let his guard down in the banter last month, stood up on consistency to mock Yuvraj this time as well. Targeting Yuvraj’s editing team, Patel’s comment read, “I don’t have a editing team which can show my 15 minutes session into 2 hours session.”

Talking about their recent form, Patel played only a couple of Ranji Trophy matches this season, returning with scores of 25, 43 and 0. On the other hand, Yuvraj took part in five matches this season. In what was a below par performance, his 99 runs came at an average of 14.14.

While Patel was part of the Indian Test team for the series in Australia, Yuvraj hasn’t played at the highest level since India’s tour of West Indies in 2017. Given how India’s ODI team is doing, both of them are highly unlikely of being included for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Having said that, the pair has two upcoming tournaments. Yuvraj and Patel will play the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (India’s domestic T20 competition) for Punjab and Gujarat respectively later this month. They will then represent Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2019.

What followed for an 8-year-old was an instant adulation for both Ganguly and the sport. The optimist in him is waiting for the day when Punjab Kings will win their maiden Indian Premier League title.
