Paul Pogba on Solskjaer: The Manchester United midfielder draws comparisons between Solskjaer and Sir Alex’s time at the club.
Manchester United have been impressive under Solskjaer. The side registered six successive victories under his charge, and will be aiming to extend their run when they take on Brighton on Saturday.
United are yet to drop points under the Norwegian caretaker manager, and Paul Pogba has been one of the key players for Solskjaer. The manager has stated in the past that he would build his team around the French midfielder.
Pogba, who is one of the few players in the current team who has been a part of the club under Sir Alex Ferguson. Moreover, Pogba has also played under Solskjaer during his youth days at Manchester United.
And now, in an exclusive interview with BBC Sport, Paul Pogba has drawn comparisons between Solskjaer and Sir Alex’s time at the club.
Paul Pogba on Solskjaer:
As someone who returned to Manchester United after leaving the club earlier, Paul Pogba can certainly relate with Solskjaer’s homecoming at Old Trafford.
Talking to BBC Sport (via Goal), the French midfielder stated that Solskaer feels like ‘home’ at the club.
“It’s like home for him. He knows,” said Pogba.

The midfielder insisted that Solskjaer brought back the style which Sir Alex Ferguson used to play with at the club.
“Nothing really changed, he just came back to the time of Ferguson. The training, the way we use the ball, it’s everything like before.
“He’s always been really smiley, a person close to the players, understanding them.”
Paul Pogba has played under Solskjaer in the past, but states that the respect for him is ‘higher’ now.
“The respect gets a bit higher now but he’s still the same person We have goals, that’s our objective, to go back to the top.”

Manchester United are currently sixth in the Premier League table, and Paul Pogba stated that the target this season is to secure a position inside the top four.
“The top four, we can do it. We know we can do it,” said the midfielder.
