Man Utd news: Paul Pogba's brother drop hints on midfielder's exit amidst Real Madrid interests

Paul Pogba: Star midfielder’s brother drop hints on possible exit amidst Real Madrid interest in a pursuit for reinforcements.

Florentin Pogba signalled a possible departure of Manchester United’s star midfielder this summer. Whereas, Zinedine Zidane has reportedly planned to land his compatriot from England to end the midfield crisis.

The 26-year-old world cup winning player is probably not willing to play another season without the Champions league, thus, his brother’s statement to a Spanish newspaper AS in an interview signals that the former is looking at brighter prospects.

Asked if Pogba would stay at United if they fail to qualify for the Champions League: “I do not know. In football, many things can happen. For me he has done a good job (this season), although we see that it is very difficult to qualify for the Champions League. We’ll see how things end.” said Florentin Pogba.

“Today I can tell you something, tomorrow something else. Things are going to happen, now comes summer. We’ll see if he stays or if he leaves.” he further said.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer said on Friday that he will be in the market for two central midfielders this summer window. Therefore, Manchester United might consider a deal if Real Madrid offers more than £160 million in order to finance costly signings.

However, it has been suggested that Pogba will have to manage with a pay cut in Real Madrid, who are planning to make five mega signings for a squad overhaul.

The French International’s dipping form compelled the Red Devils’ fans to criticize him for the recent losses of Manchester United across all competitions. Despite the recent poor form, Solskjaer wishes to keep the 26-year-old midfielder for next season as he believes that he is the best asset to the club.

What next for Pogba and Manchester United?

Presently, Manchester United’s chances to qualify for the Champions league are slim as they are three points away from 4th spot with two games remaining. The Red Devils will face already relegated Huddersfield away tomorrow.
