Paul Pogba to Real Madrid: Toni Kroos makes admission over Man Utd star's transfer to Santiago Bernabeu

Toni Kroos has made a huge admission over Manchester United star’s transfer to Real Madrid.

Paul Pogba has been linked with Real Madrid for quite a while. The Manchester United star looks increasingly likely to leave the club after the failure to qualify for the Champions League. The Los Blancos interest on him is not private, and he could join Zinedine Zidane at the capital city of Spain in the summer.

The French midfielder spoke about his ambition to play for Real Madrid one day, and Zidane also has a high regard of Pogba. In the transfer takes place, Toni Kroos position might be hanging in the air, but the World Cup winner put pen to paper today.

The German International, who played a prominent rule under Zidane last time, has extended his contract until 2023. Albeit his contract extension, there has been a talk of a potential midfielder who might be incoming, with Paul Pogba the first name on the shortlist.

Toni Kroos, upon signing his contract, was asked about his position should Paul Pogba come to Real Madrid. The former Bayern Munich midfielder has vowed to fight for the position, like he always does. He said: “ Zidane knows me and knows where I can play, while in my view the left is my ideal position. If there were doubts about my future then I wouldn’t be here today.

We can speak of many names, I also like this player, but for me it does not change what I have done in recent years here, to fight for my position.”

The Los Blancos have already signed Eder Militao from FC Porto for a fee of 50 million euros. They are also reputedly close to landing Eden Hazard from Chelsea, with one of Paul Pogba, Christian Eriksen, and Donny Van de Beek expected to head to Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.

Barring all these, Kylian Mbappe has cast doubt over his Paris Saint Germain future, putting Real Madrid on a high alert.
