Paul Pogba Transfer News: Real Madrid steps back from the transfer pursuit of the French superstar who earlier had plans to leave his club.
Manchester United was getting ready to have a life without Paul Pogba in Manchester United’s squad, but recently they have been witnessing the opposite updates in his transfer saga.
According to a report by Marca, Real Madrid has planned to drop out from the race of Pogba, even though his compatriot Zinedine Zidane would love to add his services.
However, the financial demands set up by the Red Devils are not matching the interests of Real Madrid. Pogba was hired by Manchester United with a record-breaking transfer fee, which they would love to compensate.
It seems risky though, considering Pogba next season will enter into the final year of his contract and if he doesn’t extend it further, then Manchester United will have to allow him to negotiate with other clubs while moving away from free.
Although there have been reports circulating that Pogba is also considering staying in Manchester after he saw the improvements made by the team since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes.
But if he still wants to leave, Juventus will end up as the only viable option for Pogba, and it is not sure whether the Old Lady will invest in him so generously, seeing the losses all clubs facing amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.
Therefore, there are a lot of uncertainties around his future presently. Even though Pogba hardly gave appearances this season, yet his value in the market remained unaffected.
With this, this scenario can also be changed when football once returns, we might soon get to see Real Madrid, as La Liga is planning to re-start games in June.
