Paul Pogba Transfer: Real Madrid are confident of landing Manchester United star before the summer transfer window closes.
What was once a storm has now calmed into a breeze. Manchester United had been shaken by Paul Pogba’s open desire to leave the club. The Frenchman and his agent were very vocal about moving on to a new challenge. However, in recent times, the matter seems to have passed. Pogba looks to be settled in the squad once again. Real Madrid are confident though, that this is merely the quiet before the tempest. They are convinced that they can prise the World cup winner from Old Trafford.
Paul Pogba has become the focus of praise by his manager. Ola Gunnar Solskjaer has been very pleased with his attitude recently. It is abundantly clear that the Norwegian has no intention of parting with the midfielder. He is looking to rebuild his side around him. However, ESPN have reported that Real Madrid are increasingly confident of signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.
Real confident they can bring Pogba to the Spanish capital
They have reported that Real Madrid President, Florentina Perez told Zidane that ‘it would be difficult to sign Pogba’ given that United are not looking to sell. Zidane however, has pleaded him and Director General Jose Angel Sanchez to make another effort. It seems as though Madrid have found a way to come to an agreement.

However, time is of the essence if Real Madrid truly want to bring in Paul Pogba in the current transfer window. English Premier League sides are permitted to sell their players until the 31st of August. The period for buying closes after August 8 though. Which means, if Real Madrid delay putting in a bid for Pogba they may lose out on signing him altogether. It is highly unlikely that United will let him go if they can’t bring a replacement.
