Paul Pogba Transfer: Solskjaer wants to get rid of Man Utd Star as speculation looms over the France International’s future.
Paul Pogba came to United as the then costliest player in the world. Expectations were high, especially after his exploits with Juventus. However, Pogba has failed to consistently deliver for United. Undoubtedly talented, the midfielder has failed to convert his skills into match winning performances. However, the higher ups at United are unwilling to let them go.

Despite Pogba making his desire to play for Zidane vocal, the official statement from United has been that the midfielder is not for sale. While speaking on a promotional tour in Tokyo, the France international said:
“For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else. After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well. I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else. I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else.”
Following the announcement, Juventus and Real Madrid have lined up for the midfielder’s signature. United on the other hand have tried their best to lure him to stay. They have reportedly even offered him 500k in weekly wages. However, Paul Pogba has made no bones about his decision for a transfer away from Old Trafford.
The United Squad gathered earlier this week for their pre-season tour of Australasia. Pogba was conspicuous by his absence. The club attempted to end all speculation by saying that he would be back at the club this weekend and would join them on their tour.
However…
Dailystar have reported that Solskjaer is willing to sell Pogba to the highest bidder and use the funds to sign a midfield replacement who is more committed to the club. The manager will be keen to asses the midfielder’s state of mind when he reports back to Carrington ahead of Sunday’s flight to Australia.
Real Madrid have reportedly offered Kroos and Bale for Pogba while Juventus have offered United the services of Paulo Dybala plus cash. It will be interesting to see which side of the European continent Pogba heads to.
