Paul Pogba’s record in league: Pogba scored a brace against Fulham and crossed the 10-goal barrier in the league for the first time in his career.
Manchester United cruised to a 3-0 victory over Fulham in the Premier League earlier today. Paul Pogba scored a brace in the game while Anthony Martial scored with an excellent solo goal.
With this win, Manchester United entered the top four for the first time in this season since they defeated Leicester City in their first league game in August.
Paul Pogba has been brilliant under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The footballer has been in fantastic form ever since the arrival of the Norwegian.
In the 10 games he has played under Solskjaer, Pogba has scored eight goals and assisted five.
Deserved that. We’ve absolutely dominated them in this second half. 0-3 and Pogba with his second. He’s been outstanding. Head and shoulders above the rest of the players on the pitch. This is brilliant game management from the players and the score line fully reflects the play.

With his first goal in the game against Fulham, he also crossed the double figures in a league season for the first time.
Here’s his year-wise record in the league:
- 2011/12 Premier League (Manchester United): 3 games, 0 goals
- 2012/13 Serie A (Juventus): 27 games, 5 goals
- 2013/14 Serie A (Juventus): 36 games, 7 goals
- 2014/15 Serie A (Juventus): 26 games, 8 goals
- 2015/16 Serie A (Juventus): 35 goals, 8 goals
- 2016/17 Premier League (Manchester United): 30 games, 5 goals
- 2017/18 Premier League (Manchester United): 27 games, 6 goals
- 2018/19 Premier League (Manchester United): 23 games, 11 goals*
In this season so far, Paul Pogba has scored 13 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions.
There is a stark contrast in this season between Pogba’s performances under Mourinho and Solskjaer. There is an obvious significance about the fall-out in the relationship between the French midfielder and Mourinho, which had an adverse impact on Pogba’s performances.

Mourinho resolved to drop Pogba in the games towards the end of his tenure as the manager of the club.
In the 13 games he played under Mourinho, Pogba had scored only 3 goals and registered as many assists. In comparison, the midfielder has scored eight and assisted five goals in merely ten games in Solskjaer’s charge.
The Norwegian former United star has worked with Paul Pogba during his youth days at Manchester United, and he clearly knows how to get the best out of the player.
