Premier League team of the week: Sportsrush decides team of the week after all the games end scheduled in game-week 3.

Premier League offered yet another exciting week of intense competitions between the top 20 clubs in England, with the 10 matches held in this game-week. The table has reshuffled.

However, Liverpool stays on top and it is the only team to have three successive wins in the league so far. Manchester City are not far behind, and only lagging with two points behind, which they dropped last week.

Thus, the Citizens would be hoping from the Reds to lose some points in the upcoming game-weeks. On the other hand, Chelsea secured their first win in an epic encounter against Norwich City.

Whereas, Manchester United had a tough luck against Crystal Palace, after conceding the winner in the stoppage time. The North London clubs had a tough day at work, as Arsenal lost 3-1 against Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs last night.

Moreover, Leicester City have been able to maintain their winning spree and defeated Sheffield United by 2-1 to be in the top-4 as for now.

Goalkeeper

Tim Heaton: Aston Villa recorded their first win of their season against Everton. The toffees faced a humiliating 2-0 defeat. Despite it, they were posing in threat in attack and Tim Heaton played a crucial part in preventing them.

Defenders

Fabian Schar: Overall Newcastle’s defence was brilliant against Tottenham and Schar undoubtedly shined among the defensive setup. The Swiss defender had most number of tackles (3) in the game and won most number of duels (9).

Tyrone Mings: Mings was impressive against Everton. His perfect positioning frustrated the Toffees upfront. Hence, contributing in Heaton’s clean-sheet.

Jannik Vestergaard: The Danish defender had a great outing against Brighton & Hove Albion. He was a key figure for Southampton in defence and made two key tackles to provide a clean-sheet.

Midfielders

Mohamed Salah: The Egyptian International ran riots against Arsenal, and registered a brace to give a comfortable win to his side. His blistering speed made David Luiz clueless in the middle.

David Silva: The veteran midfielder had a phenomenal game against Bournemouth last night. Silva was involved in two goals out of three scored by Manchester City, as he gave assists in those two. Hence, validating his inclusion.

Fabinho: Liverpool’s midfield had a great game and Fabinho undoubtedly stood out. The Brazilian midfielder had 93% successful pass rate and created 5 chances while giving an assist.

Nathan Redmond: Redmond scored a goal to give secure a win for Southampton. Moreover, he had most number of completed dribbles in the match, which made him the man of the match against Brighton.

Forwards

Sebastian Haller: The newly signed player by West Ham scored a brace to make his side win against Watford, who have lost all the matches in the league so far. Moreover, Haller won most number of duels (12). Thus, the player certainly has a shout to be in the team of the week.

Tammy Abraham: What a game it was for the youngster, who scored his first goal for the Blues, while playing against Norwich city. His brace helped Frank Lampard to register first win as a Chelsea manager as his 68th minute brought the Blues at the advantage to win the match.

Sergio Aguero: After a tough game against Tottenham, Manchester City came back to its winning habit against Bournemouth. Much credits goes to Aguero’s brace to make Manchester City win.
