PSG offer Kylian Mbappe massive salary hike to ward off interest from Real Madrid. The French star is nearing the end of his contract.
It is an open secret that Real Madrid want to recruit PSG’s Golden boy Kylian Mbappe. Many speculate that the club and the player will one day pair up. However, PSG are looking to keep a hold of their prized possession and have already begun making moves to that end.

Kylian Mbappe has a contract until the Summer of 2022. According to AS, Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, will resume his pursuit of the player a summer before, in hopes that it will bring his price down in the market. However, PSG have other ideas, one that includes Mbappe securing his future to the club for many more years to come.

The reigning French Champions are willing to make Kylian Mbappe their highest earner and place him very close to both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The French international currently earns £375,000 per week. However, if he signs a new deal with the club, he’ll earn a massive weekly salary of £750,000!
“They don’t want to let him go before the Qatar World Cup 2022 dispute. It’s a strategic issue,” a source told AS.
While PSG are eager to hold on to Kylian Mbappe for what he brings on the pitch, the young sensation is equally profitable to the club off the pitch as well. Since pairing both Neymar and Mbappe together, Nike decided to extend their contract with them from 2022 to 2032. They also increased their 25 million a year contract to 75!
The club have also gone from selling 80,000 shirts in 2008 to more than a million in 2019. It should come as no surprise than that PSG are willing to break the bank for a player they deem perfect on every front possible.
