Ravichandran Ashwin takes hilarious dig at Pakistan on their improbable task of huge margin win vs Bangladesh | Cricket World Cup 2019

Ravichandran Ashwin takes hilarious dig at Pakistan on their nearly impossible task of making it through to the semi final of 2019 World Cup

Indian Team’s premier off-spinner in the Test format- Ravichandran Ashwin is not only known for his variations with the ball in hand, but is also popular in the online circle for his witty remarks and comments on social media sites.

While the Cricketing fraternity is having a laugh at the improbable task for the Pakistan Team to make it to the semi-finals of the ongoing World Cup coming up with hilarious memes and posts on social media, Ashwin has in fact come up with a really unique way for the ‘Men in Green’ to pull off something which has never happened in the history of ODI Cricket.

His advice could even work for Pakistan!

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan needed to win by a margin of at least 316 runs versus Bangladesh in their ongoing World Cup match at Lord’s to overtake New Zealand (who are currently at the 4th spot) in terms of their Net Run Rate, and make it through to the knock-out stage. In fact no team has ever managed to win by a margin of more than 290 runs in the history of limited-overs Cricket.

Ashwin, in fact reminiscing his infamous ‘Mankading’ incident, came up with a solution that might actually work for Pakistan to register a record victory.

Replying to perhaps, one of his fans on the micro-blogging site Twitter, Ashwin suggested Pakistan to post a total somewhere near the 350-run mark and then run-out the ten Bangladeshi batsmen at the non-striker’s end- in the same manner he did to Jos Buttler during this year’s IPL.

Here’s Ashwin’s Tweet:
