RCB Playing 11 today: Royal Challengers Bangalore Predicted Playing 11 vs KXIP | IPL 2019
RCB Playing 11 today: The Sportsrush presents before you RCB’s Predicted Playing 11 for their 11th match of IPL 2019 vs Kings XI Punjab.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore have finally had some kind of semblance established to their season. After a maligned spree of 6 straight defeats, with three wins in their previous four encounters, the side under Virat Kohli’s leadership have finally begun taking strides in the showpiece Indian Premier League and they’ll be looking to build on that come the Kings XI Punjab.
After a calamitous showing as a captain, the recent improvement in RCB’s performance is also courtesy of Kohli the captain showing proactive and decisive captaincy. Having benched Siraj the last time around, expect Kohli to play the same winning side against Punjab as well.

Top-order
Without a doubt the strongest element in RCB’s side, with Virat Kohli and Parthiv Patel opening and the mercurial AB de Villiers to follow, it’s a top 3 that bowlers hating facing up against. The three have been in terrifically rich form of late, obliterating the best of bowling line-ups at will and on a surface that will allow for rampant stroke play, we fully expect these three to put on a show and peel off the runs at will.
Middle-order
While the identity of the middle-order is nailed down for RCB, the order at which batsmen are sent out is something that is still a puzzling proposition for them. After Moeen’s 28 ball, 66 against KKR, he was demoted down the order, allowing Stoinis to come in above him.
Out of the top 5 fastest deliveries by an Indian in #VIVOIPL – Navdeep Saini occupies 1st, 3rd and 4th positions. Bold achievement, Saini! Watch out for more, everybody. #PlayBold pic.twitter.com/iPBiW3YfOl

Kohli will be well versed with which spot is ideal for which player and we expect Moeen at number 4 to be followed by Stoinis as RCB look to apply the final finishing touches to their innings.
Bowlers
With Dale Steyn being brought in by the side, he’s come in, allowing RCB to be much confident when going into the powerplay overs. Having not picked up 3 wickets in total in the powerplay till a few matches back, RCB tore apart CSK in their previous encounter, seeing them slump to 28-4 in the first 6 overs of field restrictions.
Umesh and Steyn will open the bowling, with Chahal and Pawan making up the spin department. What still remains an adversary for Kohli is how to work the overs around for his pacers with none of them showing the specialist skill set and versatility to mix up deliveries in the final overs, something that has cost RCB way too often.
