RCB vs MI Match Prediction

RCB vs MI Match Prediction: The Sportsrush presents before you the Match Prediction of seventh match of IPL 2019.

The seventh match of IPL 2019 will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians at Bengaluru tonight. Having lost their first matches, both captains in Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma respectively will be looking to turn things around at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Having said that, only one of them will be able to set things right leaving the other to further ponder about his game plan going into the tournament. Given the names involved, one thing which is given is the fact that fans can expect a highly competitive match being played tomorrow.

What number suggest?

Going by the numbers, Mumbai Indians clear have the lead as far as Head-to-Head stats between both the franchises are concerned. Out of the 25 matches played between RCB and MI, RCB have won only nine whereas MI have won the remaining 16 matches. Furthermore, RCB’s average score of 155 against MI is way less than MI’s average score of 163 against RCB.

While some teams boast of playing at their home ground, Bengalore can’t afford to do the same for they have won only two out nine matches played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. While the numbers appear to be going in Mumbai’s favour, team combination is also likely to advocate for them tonight.

Paper value

Furthermore, there is no denying the fact that Mumbai looks a better team on paper. While both the teams have a stellar top-order, the presence of all-rounder in Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Ben Cutting add significant firepower to their lower order.

Barring Colin de Grandhomme, Royal Challengers might struggle to get going during the slog overs against the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell McClenaghan. While MI doubtlessly look strong on paper, only time will tell if they cash-in on their paper value or not.
