RCB vs RR Weather Forecast today

RCB vs RR Weather Forecast today: Chances of rain in Bengaluru might play spoilsport in the all-important IPL 2019 match.

The 49th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals at Bengaluru. In what is going to be bottom of the table clash, it wouldn’t have enticed plentiful eyeballs in the general run of things.

Having said that, what will force a lot of people to watch this match is the fact that the team which will lose is most likely to be out of contention for qualifying for IPL 2019 knockouts.

With five wins in 12 matches, Royals currently have 10 points. On the contrary, with four wins in 12 matches, Royal Challengers are currently reeling at the bottom of the points table. After getting off to poor starts, both teams have done comparatively well to remain in contention for the knockouts till now.

RCB vs RR Weather Forecast today

In a development which is highly unlikely of going down well with both fans and players is the rain in Bengaluru today. Going by reports in ESPNcricinfo, the city had witnessed grey sky and raindrops throughout the day. It was also mentioned that despite rain being continuous in some parts of the city, it is currently not raining at the stadium.

“Really doubt if there’s gonna be any game tonight. Raining cats and dogs in Bangalore, I guess this should be the end of road for RCB and RR,” a comment read on ESPNcricinfo.

“But there’s some good news, Syed – the rain is pretty localised here in Bengaluru. It might be raining in your neighbourhood, but things are dry at the stadium [for now]. Fingers crossed,” read the reply on the above comment.

Given the importance of the comment, watching a washed out fixture would be the last thing which anyone would want.
