Luka Jovic to Real Madrid

Real Madrid are looking to make a move for the young striker Luka Jovic who is currently plying his trade with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Real Madrid are looking to revamp their squad in the summer transfer window. The likes of Marcelo, Isco, and Luka Modric are being linked with a move away from the Los Blancos.

The incomings which have sounded the most at Santiago Bernabeu are Mauro Icardi, Christian Eriksen, Eden Hazard, and Eder Militao. Ronaldo’s departure hurt the whole club who are struggling for their form at both ends of the pitch – offensive and defensive.

If you take the Portuguese International out of any team, the team is heading into the season with a shortage of 50 goals which is a premium number for the former Real Madrid forward. There is no doubt that Karim Benzema has tried his fullest to fill the void left by Ronaldo, but there is no doubt that there are much more talented strikers than the French International.

The former Lyon graduate has had a 30-goal season only once in his Real Madrid career which will force the issue for Florentino Perez in the forthcoming summer. According to the Spanish Publication AS, the reigning Champions League winners are ready to step up their interest on Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic whose parent club is SL Benfica.

The report also adds on that the Serbian has a loan contract up to the end of this season. The German club also have an option to buy the attacker for a fee between 6 million and 12 million euros which they are likely to activate to lure him to Waldstadion in the summer.

Born in Bosnia, the attacker is currently representing Serbia, from where his parents hail from. The 21-year-old has scored 18 goals in 25 appearances for the Bundesliga Club, including 13 in the German top tier and 5 in the Europa League.

The Los Blancos will have to hurry if they are serious to land Jovic in the summer transfer window. Even though Frankfurt will buy for a fee in the area of 10 million euros, there is no doubt that they will be seeking a big amount.

Recently, Barcelona and Bayern Munich enquired about the possibility of luring him away from Frankfurt. There is no shortage of interest for the Serbian. Should they decide to sell him, he would easily fetch a fee of 60 million.
