Real Madrid star puts emotional message: The side returned from the UAE with the Club World Cup triumph last month.
Real Madrid have had an eventful season so far. After the departure of Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo, the club struggled immensely at the beginning of the season.
The side, under Julen Lopetegui, saw the worst goalless run in Real Madrid’s history, and a 5-1 routing at Camp Nou in season’s first El Clasico resulted in the club parting ways with the Spanish manager.
Under Santiago Solari, however, their season improved, as Real Madrid returned to top-4 in the league, and finished the year with Club World Cup victory.
However, one player who found himself in a similar situation under both the managers was Keylor Navas. The arrival of Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea forced the star goalkeeper on the bench. Navas has only made two La Liga appearances, playing only eight games throughout the season.

And now, it seems like Navas has bid his final goodbye to Real Madrid fans.
Real Madrid star puts emotional message:
Keylor Navas has been facing most of his time in the new season on the bench. On New Years’ Day, the Costa Rican goalkeeper posted a story on Instagram, which almost seemed like a farewell message for the Real Madrid fans.

The goalkeeper signed for Real Madrid in 2014. Throughout his time, the club was heavily linked with the signing of David de Gea, with the club almost closing the deal in the summer transfer window in 2015.
However, Keylor Navas stepped up brilliantly for Real Madrid, playing a key role in the side’s European triumphs.
