As the saying goes, “Desperate times, desperate measures”. Under fire defending champions Real Madrid are seeking desperate measures to get back to winning ways. So much so that Los Blancos are ready to replace their existing attacking trio of Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo.

According the rumors coming out of Spain, Florentino Perez has expressed his desire for a major overhaul this summer where he wants to land in Neymar, Eden Hazard and Robert Lewandowski as the new attacking trio for Los Galacticos.

Spanish news outlet AS Marca surprisingly claim that Neymar is the top priority for Madrid as they seek to swoop in for Eden Hazard as well. Real Madrid are yet to close in on their striker options with heavy links towards Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi should they not have any scope with Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

With only 10 goals in 34 games across all competitions this season, the BBC have failed to strike this campaign. Madrid’s lackluster form that sees them at 4thposition, 19 points adrift of Barcelona. Along with constant injuries for Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale, these facts only add to the fact of a possible overhaul.

Although Cristiano Ronaldo is raking up play time, he too is out of form this term with just 4 goals in La Liga. His recent displeasure over not being offered a new contract has not gone down well with the Portuguese expressing his intent to reunite with former team Manchester United and ex-manager Jose Mourinho.

Nevertheless, with Karim Benzema returning to match fitness, Madrid will hope the BBC gets back to form ASAP and lift them from the current crisis that may even see them crash out of the Champions League next season.
