Real reason why Neymar, Mbappe and the PSG squad mocked Erling Haaland after their UCL round of 16 victory over Borussia Dortmund.
Paris Saint-Germain sent German outfit Borussia Dortmund out of the Champions League with a 2-0 victory at the Parc de Princess. The French champions move to the quarter-finals after winning the tie, 3-2 on aggregate. Despite the quality on the pitch from both sides, the major news coming from the match has been the events after the game.

The celebration was once again repeated, this time however, by the entire squad following the final whistle.

Neymar then posted an image of him doing the celebration on Instagram with the caption: ‘Paris our city, not yours.’
That begs the question why were PSG so hostile to an up and coming teenager?

The backdrop for all the events that followed the match actually happened well before the game had even started. What seems to be an act of bullying on the part of the PSG players, was in actuality an act of retaliation for an image posted by the Norwegian on snapchat captioned: ‘Paris is my city’.

The reason behind Neymar& the PSG team mocking Haaland was his post on Snapchat before the game saying Paris is his city so Neymar mocked him with his meditation celebration and later posted on Instagram telling him Paris is not his city but rather theirs (PSG) pic.twitter.com/yUY1GZ5ss9

This makes sense as to why the Parisians were so irked with the youngster and it showed in their performance. Although, you are well within your rights to wonder if they maybe went a little too far in their obsession with making a fool out of Haaland.
