Rocket League Error 71

Rocket League Error 71: What is Error 71 in Rocket League? When does it occur and how can you fix it? Quick and easy steps.

Rocket League has seen a huge surge in players ever since the game went free-to-play on the Epic Store a few days ago. However, many new players in the game seem to be facing a common issue – Error 71.

Rocket League Error 71: What is it?

So, what is Error 71? Well, this error usually occurs in the game when there are connection issues or sometimes downright breakdowns. This could occur due to problems with the remote server you are accessing, the game’s own server or even just your Router. Since it is a connection issue, that is why you receive the Error message “Your Connection timed out”.

How to fix it?

How can you fix the issue? Now, before you start trying to fix it on your end, first of all, find out if it is a personal issue at all. By that I mean, sometimes there can be remote or even game server issues. These are widespread connection problems that everyone will face just like you. So, there’s nothing you can do to fix it because it’s not your fault in the first place. You just have to wait it out because they get fixed very quickly usually.

If however, it is your individual issue, in that case, it should be a problem with your Router. Try restarting the Router first. If this doesn’t work, try resetting it after. However, if both these attempts fail, make sure that your router firmware is up-to-date. Now, if you’re aware of how to carry out these tasks, well and good. If you’re not, however, check out this article, for detailed steps to troubleshoot your Router.

One of these methods is sure to work. Therefore, stay calm and follow them. Don’t worry, a tiny Error Code can’t keep you from your favourite game for long!
