Rohit Sharma comments on Farokh Engineer’s controversial statement
Former India wicket-keeper batsman Farokh Engineer was under the scanner yesterday after his comments on the Indian selection committee was made with respect to Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. The actress eventually took to her social media handles to open up about the same.
Being asked about the same, Sharma didn’t consider himself to be the right person to comment on the situation. “Neither am I the President nor the captain, a regular captain. So what should I say about this?
“So, ask him [Farokh Engineer] why did he say that? I haven’t said anything, so, what should I say? I cannot go into Farokh Sir’s head and see why he said that,” Sharma added.
