Rohit Sharma on MS Dhoni’s birthday: Rohit gives hilarious reply to reporters seeking his message for Dhoni on his 38th birthday

Team India’s veteran wicket-keeper batsman- MS Dhoni will celebrate his 38th birthday on Sunday, and fans, celebrities had already started pouring their auspicious wishes for the well-being of one of India’s favourite sons right at the stroke of midnight.

The celebration should in fact be an even grander one as India eventually finished at the top of the table after the end of the league stages of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup. India defeated Sri Lanka at Headingley, while South Africa won a thrilling contest versus Australia to deny them a summit finish.

Rohit Sharma carried on with his century hitting habit, as he scores his record fifth century in the 2019 World Cup to set a record for most number of tons hit by any player in a World Cup tournament.

However, while addressing the post-match press conference post India’s victory versus Sri Lanka, Rohit was asked by one of the journalist about what message he would like to give for MS Dhoni on his birthday. The 32-year-old, was again at his savage best and came up with yet another hilarious reply for the same.

What did Rohit Sharma reply?

Ab kya bolun yaar, birthday me kya bola jaata hai? Happy birthday? Yahi to bola jaata hai” (What should I say, what does one say on someone’s birthday? Happy Birthday?), replied Rohit when asked about his message for the birthday boy.

He then went on to say, that since it’s a travel day tomorrow, and they are not sure whether they’ll go to Manchester or Birmingham (for playing the semi-finals), there might be a cake cutting ceremony in the bus itself.

He ended his comment with the promise that he will send the pictures (of the cake-cutting ceremony) to the concerned journalist.

Bus drive mein cake-cutting hoga. Photo voto bhejenge aapko”, replied Rohit in his uniquely funny way.
