Romelu Lukaku: Manchester United striker agrees personal terms with Italian club

Romelu Lukaku: Manchester United star reportedly agreed personal terms with Inter Milan as the player favours a move to Serie A.

Romelu Lukaku is a top summer target for Inter Milan, as newly appointed manager Antonio Conte views the Belgian striker to be a suitable addition to his team.

It was reported that the Manchester United striker was in advanced talks with the Italian outfit. Thus, in recent news according to a report by the Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that Lukaku has agreed personal terms with Inter Milan.

The Belgian striker had a rough season with Manchester United, as his side failed to capitalize many matches and finished sixth in the league, making him a subject to massive criticism by Manchester United fans.

Moreover, angling for a move having seen his playing time reduced under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season when Marcus Rashford was deployed as a central striker.

It is further reported that both the clubs continue to rumble on and Manchester United are understood to want at least £62 million.

On the other hand, Inter Milan are ready to offer Ivan Perisic plus cash for the player, but the Red Devils are not ready to accept the offer, as they are no longer interested in the Croatian International.

Whereas, Lukaku is keen to sign for the Nerazzuris, as he admitted during an interview with the Sport Mediaset that he is willing to play in Italy.

‘I was always a big fan of the Italian League,’ he told Sport Mediaset. ‘I have two Leagues, which I’ve always dreamed about – the English League and Serie A.

‘Serie A is my [other] favourite League – I love Italy. With the transfer of [Cristiano] Ronaldo, I think the Italian League is now coming back.’Antonio Conte going to Inter is really good because he is, [for] me, the best manager in the world.’

‘He [Conte] knows what I think about him. I’m not somebody who likes to talk about my personal relationships with managers but, you know, I’m a player of Manchester United and I have to respect my club.’

Inter Milan have reportedly offered earn £6.6 million in bonuses until 2024 but final terms are not disclosed yet. Nevertheless, the Italian giants will have to face with Manchester United before hiring the Belgian star.
