According to MARCA, Juventus are considering a €120m bid for the Real Madrid superstar. And now, transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio has also confirmed the Italian club’s interest. Di Marzio has also reported that Ronaldo wants a move to Juventus as well.
The Italian journalist has suggested that there hasn’t been an official contact with the club from Juventus, however they are in talks with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes. The Italian club maintains good relations with Mendes, according to Di Marzio.
Ronaldo’s current contract with the club expires in 2021, and he will ‘gladly’ leave the club this summer. The Portuguese forward wants a move to Juventus, and is looking for a salary in the region of €30m net/season in wages.
The relationship between Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez has ‘completely broken down,’ which has led to Ronaldo eyeing a move away.
Earlier, the Portuguese winger led the national team in the World Cup 2018, where they were knocked out in the round-of-16 match against Uruguay. However, Ronaldo scored four goals in the World Cup campaign, including a match-saving hattrick in the group stage against Spain.
Meanwhile, English outlet ‘The Sun’ is reporting that Ronaldo’s former club, Manchester United are also keeping track of the negotiations between the player and Juventus.
It is also being reported that Real Madrid wants to replace Ronaldo with Neymar. However, the club has denied making an offer for the Brazilian forward as of now.
