RR vs SRH Match Prediction

RR vs SRH Match Prediction: The Sportsrush presents before you the Match Prediction of 45th match of IPL 2019.

As we see a huge exodus of players in the Indian Premier League with the English cricket board recalling all their participants in the league, we have two sides who’ve been impacted the most by this squaring off against each.

In between them, the Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost a total of four players, something that will leave a huge gaping hole, one either side hard to fulfill when they meet at the Sawai Mansingh stadium.

Despite the unfortunate turn of events, don’t expect this match to be a one-sided one by any means. As we move further closer to the end of the group stage, the battle for the top 4 has never been tighter, with 4 sides still in contention for reserving their place in one revered spot.

Keeping themselves alive with a performance that showed immense fighting spirit against KKR, what works in Rajasthan’s favour are not only home conditions but the fact that they go in with massive momentum. Having won their previous two encounters, they know a SRH side who were put down in their previous encounter will be there for the taking.

The Sunrisers who currently occupy the last knock-out spot know there is no margin of error to play around. They’ll be keeping an eye on the sides below them and with their closest competitors Punjab slipping up against RCB, a win against Punjab in their castle will give SRH a major boost in their sojourn.

RR vs SRH – What numbers suggest?

With 10 matches contested between the two sides, SRH have the better record with six wins as opposed to the Royals’ four victories. Out of the two matches played by both teams against each other at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, both Rajasthan and Hyderabad have won one match each.

RR vs SRH – Key battles

Steven Smith vs Rashid Khan

In his previous outing against Kolkata Knight Riders, Royals captain Steven Smith showed the huge flaws in his batting style against spin. Getting nowhere near Narine’s delivery that came back into him, Smith was caught flummoxed to depart for just the two runs.

This will clearly be something that SRH would have studied in huge depth. They’ll look to deploy Rashid early on against Smith, knowing if they can send him back to the pavilion cheaply, the RR’s platform of a huge total will be massively hurt.

RR vs SRH – Match Prediction

With both sides missing two of their best batsmen in Jonny Bairstow and Jos Buttler at the top of the order, they both walk out in the middle not as assured as before. What works in SRH’s favour on a batting friendly wicket, one that offers something for the spinners as well as the day passes in the incredible depth they have in both their batting and bowling unit.

The Royals are severely depleted with the loss of their best bowler Archer leaving them papering over the cracks. It’ll be tough for them to contain Warner and Williamson once they apply themselves in the middle and we expect SRH to make it two wins out of two against the side from Jaipur on the 27th.
