Sachin Tendulkar Birthday Wishes: The Master Blaster received plentiful wishes from the cricketing fraternity on his 46th birthday.

It is that time of the year when the cricketing fraternity will celebrate Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s birthday. Given the importance of day among not just Indian but fans across the world, wishes started to pour just as the clock turned 12 midnight in India.

Born in 1973, Tendulkar has turned 46 today. Having made his international debut at the age of 16 in 1989, Tendulkar went on to achieve unprecedented paradigms during his 24-year old international career.

As far as batting is concerned, Tendulkar has most of the major records to his name. After receiving the Arjuna Award for his outstanding achievement in sports in 1994, Tendulkar went on to receive Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award in 2014.

In 664 international matches across formats, Tendulkar scored 34,357 runs at an average of 48.52 including 100 centuries and 164 half-centuries.

Having retired from international cricket in 2014, Tendulkar currently serves Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians in a mentoring role.
