Sadio Mane stops his teammates to celebrate goal against Manchester United in Premier League clash

Sadio Mane stops his teammates as they celebrate equalizer against Manchester United in the Premier League fixture clash last night.

Manchester United and Liverpool had an intense battle last night, as they once again justified the magnitude of their rivalry even though the Red Devils are not at the level as they used to be in the Fergie era.

On the other hand, Liverpool is amidst one of the most glorious eras in their history, as they are the current European champions. Despite it, the Reds found it difficult to grab three points at the Old Trafford.

Although, it can be said that Liverpool was lucky to grab a point from the Old Trafford as they were on the verge of facing defeat to Ole Solskjaer’s side after Marcus Rashford scored the opener in the 36th minute.

Manchester United was able to hold Liverpool for the majority of the match but it was Adam Lallana who came from the bench to score for the Merseyside club and kept Liverpool undefeated in the league this season.

It was surely a delightful moment for Lallana, who scored a goal after 2.5 years and the English International celebrated accordingly. However, Liverpool’s star Sadio Mane wanted to keep the celebration short and wanted his teammates to remain focused in the dying minutes of the game.

Images have emerged of Mane pulling Lallana away from the celebrations in an attempt to get the match restarted as soon as possible. Probably the Senegalese International wanted to take 3 points from the old Trafford and desired to keep Liverpool’s winning streak alive.

Ultimately, Liverpool could not force another goal in the last few minutes remained in the game and with this, Manchester City is closer to Jurgen Klopp’s side by 2 points after the Citizens won 2-0 against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
