Sam Curran hattrick: Twitter reactions on England star helping KXIP beat DC in emphatic fashion in Mohali
It was the Sam Curran show in Mohali tonight, as the young England international took the first hattrick of the IPL 2019 season, to snatch victory away from DC.

DC were cruising along to a win, thanks to some good partnerships at the top of the order, but the middle and lower order then imploded and days of the past returned for the Delhi franchise.
Sam Curran also received high praise for his top order batting, having been incorporated into the team at the expense of Chris Gayle, who was nursing a niggle.
Opening the batting, Curran teed off with some brilliant cover drives, scoring 20 off 10 balls and giving KXIP the perfect start in the absence of Chris Gayle.
But it was his hattrick that ultimately deflated DC and helped KXIP romp to an unlikely victory. Twitter naturally went crazy for the young England star, who has made quite a name for himself across all formats.
Hat-trick for Sam Curran as Delhi Capitals have capitulated!

Delhi Capitals will now have to get back to the drawing board and figure out what went wrong for them, especially after the incredible super over win in the last game against KKR. The idea was to finish off the game early tonight and not take it to the last over, but that clearly did not work out for them, as the lower order imploded in massive way. KXIP on the other hand would be thrilled with this unexpected win and would want to get some momentum going in the tournament from here on.
