San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets Dream11 Prediction: Dream11 Fantasy Tips for DEN vs SAS as The SportsRush helps you with Dream11

Game 1 went according to plan. Well according to my plan at least. I expected Spurs to frustrate the Nuggets and while the Spurs did uncharacteristically let Denver take a fair few open shots that they missed, it still showed why sometimes experience can trump a lot more talent at times.

he Spurs are well coached. Or GOAT coached, is that a thing? I am making it a thing. With Pop, some Spurs players with very little upside and very little athleticism or shooting are maximising all of their talents and they stifled Jokic and the Nuggets to steal the first game away from home and now hold the home court advantage in the series.

DeRozan’s game seemed to be a liability in the playoffs with stronger more physical defending leading to worsening the odds on already low percentage mid rangers. He was nearly unguardable in the game 1 with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. The other former All-Star for Spurs Aldridge also had good points with 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 1 assist. Three other Spurs got into double digits. Rudy Gay had 14 points, Bryn Forbes had 15 and Derrick White had 16 including this dunk on Power Forward Paul Milsap:

Nuggets had a poor game by their standards. Jokic’s reluctance to use his 7 foot 500 pound body (okay maybe he’s 275 pounds, but doesn’t look like it when he’s amping around the court) cost the Nuggets as he kept differing his shots whereas Nuggets have an advantage at Center because if Aldridge’s poor interior defense. But although Jokic had only 10 points, he got himself 14 assists and 14 rebounds.

Those are very good numbers. All the starters on Nuggets got to double digit points but Gary Harris (20 points, only Nugget to reach 20 points) and Jamal Murray (17 points) were the only ones that reached or went over season averages. Off the bench Malik Beasley continued to be value for money with 10 points and 3 assists.

San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets Dream11 Prediction :

Jamal Murray (PG) (14.5 Cr)

Remains raw and is in his first playoff series ever, but showed he doesn’t lack confidence irrespective of whether his shots are falling or not. And he is a shooter. Plus if Jokic continues to defer from scoring Nuggets will most likely look to Murray for scoring and he can deliver.

Derrick White (PG) (11.5 Cr)

White did it all in game 1 as he cements his starting PG role with every passing game. He had 16 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds, which has increased his price, but juggernauts under Pop always seem to keep rolling, I mean other average athletes in Ginobili and Parker made hall of fame careers out of these. So White makes my team.

DeMar DeRozan (SG) (19.5 Cr)

DeRozan will most likely end up leading the series in points as the best shot creator in the series. His passing though has reached a new level under Pop and he should average 6+ assists and 7 rebounds in the series. Thats a lock in on any team.

Lonnie Walker (SG) (3.5 Cr)

Walker will probably not play but that is fine. He might play and at 3.5 Cr, patsy pick a maybe will get a few minutes is as good as it gets.

Torey Craig (SF) (6.5 Cr)

Neither Rudy Gay nor Will Barton offer enough consistent scoring or passing to justify their 10+ point value. Craig gets 10+ minutes and can shoot and pass. He averaged 8 points, 2.2 rebounds per game in the regular season. At 6.5 Cr that is good value.

Tyler Lydon (PF) (4.0 Cr)

It seems no matter what I do, I can never seem to fit Paul Milsap in my team. Blame it on the statistic stud Jokic and his high price. Lydon has barely played this season, he isn’t suddenly going to start playing in the playoffs. But my experience has shown the tradeoff from cheaper players not likely to play with another star is better than 2 role players almost every time. So Lydon, welcome my star.

Nikola Jokic ( C ) (21.5 Cr)

Jokic had a really poor game and gave 47.8 points on dream 11 thanks to his 14 boards and 14 assists. And that is something he can average easily if he needs to. So pick him. He is what Westbrook is, with the added 8 inches and 300 pounds. Okay that was the unhealthy joke about Jokic (no wordplay intended). Promise.

LaMarcus Aldridge ( C ) (19 Cr)

Aldridge is a smooth scorer anywhere inside the 3 point line and when you are being guarded by a 400 pound middle aged white man, that helps a lot. (Well what do you know, I did have a Jokic joke left in the tank) On a serious note though, Jokic isn’t good at defending Aldridge with his range, the same way Aldridge isn’t any good at defending Jokic. So pick them both. To hell with defense, this game is made for offense first players and Aldridge is just that.

Star Player:

Nikola Jokic

Must not Joke.

So hard.

Ugh..
