Sania Mirza confirms her sister Anam will soon marry Mohammad Azharuddin’s son

Sania Mirza confirms her sister Anam will soon marry Mohammad Azharuddin’s son Asad. She and her sister have already been to her bachelorette party and are excited for the wedding.

Sania Mirza is easily the best Tennis player to have ever been born in India. In a country dominated by cricket, her dedication and efficiency in her field led to many being emotionally invested in her progress every time a Grand Slam rolled around.

Her marriage to Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik made quite the news in 2010. Data from Google Trends showed that she was the most-searched woman tennis player and Indian sportsperson in 2010. Sania has now confirmed, that just like her, her sister will also tie the knot with a cricketer.

“She (Anam) is actually getting married in December. We just came back from her bachelorette trip in Paris. We are really excited,” Sania told Times of India.

“She is marrying a lovely boy. His name is Asad and he happens to be the son of Mohammad Azharuddin and we are really excited about it,” Sania was quoted as saying on Saturday.

Family

After Sania Mirza posted a picture with Asad on Social Media with the caption: ‘Family’, fans became speculating on the possibility of Asad getting hitched with her sister. As it turns out, the rumors were indeed true as confirmed straight from the horse’s mouth.

Sania’s sister, Anam Mirza is a fashion Stylist and styles Sania regularly for events. Asad on the other hand is a cricketer like his father. Unfortunately, he has not seen the same success on the pitch like his father had and currently plies his trade for Goa cricket.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
