SL vs PAK Dream11 Team Prediction: The Sports Rush present before you the Best Predicted Dream11 team for the historic ODI.

The second ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi tomorrow. Earlier scheduled to be played today, persistent rain in Karachi made the authorities postpone the match by a day after the first one was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Both the teams would now be looking forward to some action. Seen the amount of rain that has fallen in the last few days, even a shortened match would serve the purpose for both the teams.
Not to forget, it would still be the first ODI in Karachi after a decade and the first one under the hosts’ new coach in Misbah-ul-Haq. As a result, even the fans are expected to visit the stadium in full numbers despite the weather being the way it is.

Pitch conditions and Toss Prediction
Incessant rain in Karachi in the last week or so is highly likely to assist the bowlers especially the pacers tomorrow. Don’t be surprised if you see the match getting affected by rain yet again.
With the National Stadium hosting an ODI after a decade, one can’t say much about how exactly the pitch will behave. Considering the weather, the captain winning the toss might elect to field first to both use the bowler-friendly conditions and have a clear judgement of what to chase if the DLS Method comes into play.
First ever no-result ODI in Karachi because of rain. Four years ago, same happened in Lahore when Zimbabwe toured. Games now are getting washed out in UAE too. Cricket is being hit by climate change. #PakvSL

Wicket-keepers for SL vs PAK Dream11
My only wicket-keeper batsman for this match is Sri Lanka’s Sadeera Samarawickrama. The 24-year old right-hand batsman had last played an ODI against England at home nearly 11 months ago. The primary reason behind picking him is him expected to either open the batting or at least bat in the top-order for Sri Lanka.
Batsmen for SL vs PAK Dream11
There is no hiding to the fact that Sri Lanka batsman Avishka Fernando has showed promise in his limited international career so far. Having scored a century and a couple of half-centuries in 13 ODIs, Fernando should earn a handsome amount of points for you.
Pakistan opening batsman Fakhar Zaman is my second specialist batsman for this match. Coming on the back of a below par World Cup, Zaman is due to score runs at the highest level now.
Ignoring batsman Babar Azam for a Dream11 fantasy squad would be nothing but outright silly. Hence, don’t commit that error. Apart from Azam, I have also selected Pakistan middle-order batsman Haris Sohail who has been successfully belting runs in ODIs in the last year or so.
All-rounders for SL vs PAK Dream11
Sri Lanka all-rounder Dasun Shanaka is my only all-rounder for this match. Slated to bat down the order, Shanaka has it in him to hit some fierce blows to fetch you some quick points. Any wicket which he takes will be like bonus points for you all.
Bowlers for SL vs PAK Dream11
Much like Shanaka, Sri Lanka pacer Isuru Udana also possesses similar abilities. Apart from shining with the ball, the 31-year old cricketer can also hit some big shots down the order. The experience of Nuwan Pradeep should aid him in being among the wickets alongside Udana.
All three of Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Hasnain will play their first ODI at home tomorrow. With Amir and Riaz likely to bowl in the death overs as well, they are likely to dismiss the opposition batsmen and win points for you.
Just in case Pakistan don’t play Hasnain, be alert during the toss and make the change accordingly.
Noteworthy stats
1) In eight ODIs against Sri Lanka, Babar Azam has scored 350 runs at an average of 58.33 including two centuries and a half-century.
2) Since the start of 2018, Haris Sohail has scored 744 runs in 17 ODIs at an average of 49.60 and a strike rate of 86.21 including two centuries and five half-centuries.
3) Having scored 1,923 runs in 35 innings at an average of 71.22 and a strike rate of 100.89 since the start of 2017, Iftikhar Ahmed has been the third-highest run-scorer in Pakistan’s List A circuit.
