Sportspersons are the only other people who are as much followed by the public, if not more, as the actors or politicians. Indian cricket has always hogged the limelight as the sport is religiously followed by all sections of the Indian society. Indian cricketers have always been looked up to and have enjoyed celebrity status.
Especially after the IPL came in the picture, the lines between Bollywood and cricket have blurred even further.

IPL is not only about cricket but overall entertainment which is catered to the audience with a fine blend of cricketers and Bollywood. This has brought the actors and cricketers very close to each other and they too seem to have started enjoying each other’s company.
There have been several occasions when Bollywood figures and cricketers have posted images of spending quality time together. In a recent development, famous Bollywood actor and lead villain of the Salman Khan starrer Dabangg series Sonu Sood met CSK skipper MS Dhoni. He was pleased to meet the legend and posted a picture on Twitter along with him.

The great man that he is, Dhoni gets along very well with most people and Bollywood celebrities are not different. He is known to share a great bond with Bollywood actor and producer John Abraham. He also is at very good terms with Sushant Singh Rajput who played his character in the movie Dhoni: the untold story. The movie shook up the box office and proved to be very popular among Indian audiences.
It now seems like Sonu Sood is the latest addition to the long list of Bollywood celebrities who enjoy a friendly relationship with Dhoni.
