Steve Smith Double Century Twitter reactions: Twitter explodes after Smith scores double ton against England

Steve Smith Double Century Twitter reactions: Twitter explodes after Smith scores double century against England in the 2nd Ashes test.

Steve Smith is on a phenomenal form and England were finding it difficult to get him out of the crease to make things better for them.

On the other side, the Australian Batsman scored a spectacular double century to make Australia cross the 400 mark in the 1st innings of the 2nd Ashes test.

However, Smith was caught out on Joe Root’s ball in the 118th over, out of all the bowlers England have in their lineup. Joe Denly caught the ball on a leg-break delivery by Root, when Smith went down on the reverse sweep, didn’t get hold of the shot and spooned it straight to Denly at short third man.

Thus, the Australian batsmen fell after making a colossal 211, as the crowd gives a loud applause to Smith as he walks back to the pavilion.

Now, England has a mountain to climb as Austalia has crossed 450 mark, and still their first innings is not over. It seems that Australia will soon declare their innings to let England start their innings to make the match progress.

Meanwhile, England are getting aggressive as the tail-enders are on the crease. However, Australia’s tail-end as always are increasing the score with shots all over the ground.

With this, Australia are looking at advantage as the score is slowly ticking ahead. Now, let’s look at the twitter reaction as Smith scores a double century against England.
