MS Dhoni’s valuable tips to Axar Patel caught on Stump Mic during the 5th ODI against Australia

MS Dhoni has always ensured to groom the budding talents. He has got the bit between his teeth whenever he is escorting the Indian fresh bloods.

The former Indian skipper may not be the skipper right now but that doesn’t mean he can’t give valuable tips to the youngsters.

Dhoni has made it a habit of nurturing them in crucial junctures of the game that has quite often provided breakthroughs for India.

The best part of MS Dhoni being the wicketkeeper is the fact that it is quite easy for the iceman to advice the bowlers at the best scene.

During the fifth ODI between India and Australia in Nagpur, Australian openers Aaron Finch and David Warner went off to a good start. Axar Patel came into the attack and broke the opening partnership.

Axar Patel also went on to pick two more wickets into his parking lot as he got Peter Handscomb and Travis Head to his tally of three.

MS Dhoni’s tips to Axar Patel was caught on Mic that read, “Dheere daal. Thoda zyada ghoomega. (Bowl slow, it will turn more.)”. Then again this line was caught saying, “Tez nahin, halka daal. (Don’t bowl fast.)”

Despite spinners getting credits for taking wickets, some part of credit goes to MS Dhoni as well because of his crunch tips. This is not the first time we have heard Dhoni’s important tips that got caught in Mic.
