MS Dhoni celebrates his 37th birthday today.

The former Indian captain and wicketkeeper MS Dhoni celebrates his 37th birthday today. Dhoni is currently with team India as they take on England in the T20I series. The Indian wicketkeeper has been, for long, one of the key members of the Indian team. He has led the team to glorious victories, both home and in abroad.

Dhoni is the only captain in the World to have won all the ICC tournaments – The World Cup, the T20 World Cup and the Champions Trophy.

Yesterday, MS Dhoni played in his 500th international match, and scored a fiery 32 not out off 24 balls.

Dhoni is nicknamed ‘Captain Cool’ because of his calming influence on the Indian team, and even as Virat Kohli was handed the baton of leadership last year, Dhoni is still central to various on-field decisions. Kohli himself admits to be taking advice from Dhoni, and insists that his presence behind the stumps is helpful, not only to the bowlers but to the team as a whole.
