Carlos Alcaraz is on his way to becoming the next superstar of tennis. The Spaniard recently returned to the World No.1 ranking, having previously achieved the feat last year at the age of 19, which meant he is the youngest ever in men’s singles history to do so. While his on-court exploits are certainly getting noticed by the tennis community, it is also off-court happenings that are making him the current center of attention.
Along his journey of becoming one of the best players in the world of tennis, Alcaraz is also becoming more a marketable personality off the court. And as an athlete’s marketability increases, the big brands come calling. For Alcaraz that is Louis Vuitton.
Carlos Alcaraz joins Pharrell Williams among global Louis Vuitton brand ambassadors
One of the most prominent global fashion brands, Louis Vuitton recently signed up Carlos Alcaraz as one of its brand ambassadors. The French company has once again looked up to tennis to market its brand in Europe and beyond, as it had also roped in the young Japanese-American star, Naomi Osaka in 2021. Alcaraz can be extremely proud of this accomplishment, joining a list of celebrities such as Lionel Messi and singer Pharrell Williams.
Pharrell Williams, who has won multiple Grammy songs for some of the most iconic songs in the 21st century, was also recently confirmed as not just one of Louis Vuitton’s brand ambassadors but also it’s Creative Director for men’s fashion. And Carlos Alcaraz is one big Williams supporter, expressing his delight at the opportunity to rub shoulders with him and don his special clothes line.
“I’d been waiting for Pharrell’s first collection since he was named men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton after the passing of Virgil, who I’ve always really appreciated because of the legacy he has left in the world of fashion,” Alcaraz was quoted as saying in an interview with Vogue.

Williams’ collection is his very first, which made its debut at the Paris Fashion Week Men’s on June 20.
“I have seen all the looks and it’s really difficult to choose one favorite—there are so many I like!”, the World No.1 tennis player candidly added.
Alcaraz names most fashionable men’s player on the ATP Tour
In the same Vogue interview, Carlos Alcaraz claimed that Canada’s Félix Auger Aliassime is the ultimate style icon amongst the current group of players on the Tour. Felix, who is currently No. 12 in the world, is one of the global ambassadors of Tag Heuer, the Swiss luxury watch brand. Co-incidentally, Alcaraz and Felix share one sponsor, i.e. Babolat, the sports equipment brand.
Louis Vuitton is Carlos Alcaraz’s third global fashion brand in a way, as he too endorses a Swiss luxury watch company, i.e. Rolex, which is also one of the sponsors of the Wimbledon Championships. Besides these two, Alcaraz endorses Calvin Klein and Nike as well.
Carlos Alcaraz has clearly stunned the world looking at his age and inexperience. Not many 20-year-olds in most professions globally earn $17 million, that too within just 3 years like the Spaniard has. Alcaraz’s game and marketability increased further after he won his first Grand Slam title at the US Open 2022, making the most of Novak Djokovic’s absence.
